The Institute for Research in Molecular Medicine (INFORMM), Universiti Sains Malaysia together with our sole sponsor Thermo Fisher Scientific are pleased to organize the eighth international MDBD conference and exhibition with the theme ‘Redefining Healthcare: Multi-Omics Driven Diagnostics and Therapeutics‘ to be held on 19-20 August 2026 at the Iconic Marjorie Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio by Marriott International.
Since 2013, MDBD has been a major event in Penang on molecular diagnostics, biomarker discovery, and medical health technology.

The Organizing Committee extends a warm welcome to everyone – graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, academicians, researchers, medical doctors, clinicians, administrators, planners, leaders, and science enthusiasts to join MDBD.
We welcome you to share your research, services and products with researchers, policy makers and practitioners from the region with a direct interest in medical health technology. We are expecting about 200 participants from academia, industry and government to this year’s conference.
